Vamp – Connecting Global Brands and Social Creators, Seamlessly

Vamp is a platform that connects world-renowned brands with social media creators — helping them collaborate on high-impact campaigns. But when they brought us in, the product was at risk. The mobile app was unstable, the web experience outdated, and progress had stalled.
We stepped in to turn things around — rebuilding the mobile experience, modernising the desktop platform, and laying the foundations for scale.
A platform creators love. A system brands rely on.

Let's talk.The Challenge
Vamp had built something valuable — but the tech was starting to get in the way.
The influencer app was unstable, especially around video uploads, and the team struggled to push out new features quickly. On the brand side, the web platform was built on outdated tech, with limited flexibility and no support for modern tooling.
The business needed to move fast, but the stack was slowing them down. Our job was to unblock development, improve the user experience, and modernise both platforms — without derailing day-to-day operations.
Our Approach
We started with stability — fixing the mobile app's crash issues and improving how it handled media uploads. From there, we began to rebuild the foundations.
On mobile, we refactored the architecture to make it more scalable and easier to work with. On web, we migrated the entire app to a modern React stack with full TypeScript support.
With a stronger base in place, we added new features on both sides: smoother tools for creators, and a white-labelled dashboard experience for brands.
Our goal was simple: make the platform feel fast, reliable, and invisible — so creators could focus on content, and brands could focus on results.
The Platform
Vamp connects two audiences — social creators on mobile and brand marketers on web. We helped refine both sides of the platform, making them faster, more intuitive, and easier to build on.
Mobile App (Creators)
For creators, the mobile app is the hub. It's where they apply for brand jobs, upload content, chat with campaign teams, and track what’s next.
But it wasn’t working. Crashes were common — especially when uploading large videos — and the user experience was clunky and slow.
We rebuilt the app’s core to improve stability and performance, then layered in upgrades to key flows:
- Job applications and approvals
- Content upload and review
- In-app messaging
- Campaign calendar and reminders
The result was an app creators could rely on — sleek, stable, and fast.
Web App (Brands)
On the brand side, we focused on clarity and control. The original dashboard was built on legacy tech, which made updates slow and experiences inconsistent.
We migrated the web app to a modern stack, introduced full TypeScript support, and restructured the front end for flexibility and speed.
We also designed and implemented a white-labelling system — giving clients their own branded views while keeping everything maintainable under the hood.
Key capabilities included:
- Campaign creation and influencer targeting
- Review and approval of submitted content
- Direct communication with creators
- Real-time visibility over campaign progress
It was everything a brand needed — packaged in a clean, customisable experience.
Performance & Outcomes
The mobile crash issues were one of the first things we solved — and the impact was immediate. Creators could now upload videos reliably, even on older devices or slower connections.
With a more stable experience, app store reviews improved and downloads grew steadily. The platform also became easier to market, attracting new brands who needed a polished, reliable way to run campaigns.
Other outcomes included:
- Faster delivery of new features and platform updates
- A more responsive and reliable experience for creators
- Improved team productivity and developer confidence
- A flexible, scalable system ready for growth
In the end, better engineering made for a better product — and that made everything else easier.
Why It Worked
We treated the platform like a product, not just a codebase — always focusing on the experience for creators and brands first.
By rebuilding the tech with care and clarity, we gave Vamp a platform they could move fast on — without compromising reliability or quality. The results spoke for themselves.

Need to fix a slow or unstable platform? Whether your app is crashing or your team’s blocked by old tech, we can help. Let’s talk about how to get things moving again.
Behind the Build
Under the Hood
While the goal was a smooth user experience, delivering it meant tackling some tough engineering challenges. The mobile app required a full architectural refactor to improve performance, reduce crashes, and simplify future development.
On mobile, we worked with React Native and UI Kitten — extending its styling system to support a consistent, brandable experience. We also improved how the app handled large media uploads, especially on slower devices.
For the web platform, we migrated from a legacy setup to React with Vite, TypeScript, and hooks. Chakra UI formed the base for a new design system that enabled consistent theming and white-labelling across clients.
The entire platform was connected via GraphQL, and we used Apollo to streamline data flow between the frontend and backend — reducing complexity and improving performance.
Everything was designed for long-term growth — stable foundations, clean architecture, and a better experience for both creators and campaign managers.
